I wonder if Cosmopolitan has come out with âHow to Not be Awkward Around the Guy You Live with Who Made You Orgasm for the First Time in Your Life WITH HIS THIGH.â
I needed someone to help me out of the situation Iâd wound up in. Emerson had been my go-to for all of my concerns and problems, but I couldnât talk to him about this for obvious reasons.
So I was stuck, lying in my bed upside down, trying to do homework but not able to focus on anything other than what Malakai was doing. Wondering if he was thinking about what happened a few days ago.
Because after he made me come, the air went from charged to uncomfortable. He didnât say a word to me the entire drive home. Not only was I not wearing panties because mine were in his pocket, but I was flushed and still coming down from my high. He just kept clutching the steering wheel and flexing his jaw like he was angry.
He probably was.
Angry with me for pushing him, angry with himself for falling for it.
He wasnât the kind of man to be pushed to do anything. Malakai, Iâm sure, had an awful temper, but it was a controlled kind of anger. He didnât randomly explode. He wasnât the snake striking at everything that came close. He was a panther.

"Don't touch me."
How could he expect me not to, when all I wanted to do was touch him. But when I'd said his name, he snapped back. The darkness dissolved and he came back from whatever it was that was haunting him.
He came back to me.
I wanted him, but what did he want from me?
Was it the chase he wanted? Was it me? Was it the forbidden aspect of our relationship? Did he want me, for me?
The possibilities of what I and Malakai were doing are endless. My mind is spinning with confusion and unanswered questions. I wanted to know where we stood. I wanted him to touch me again.
Iâd never experienced anything like that. I mean, Iâve had sex. Itâs enjoyable, never the big O, but enjoyable. That? That was an out-of-body experience. My knees had locked up, my eyes rolled into the back of my head, and I was sure I was possessed.
My door cracks open, and in trots Cebby, Kaiâs dog. I reach over the
